Great River Riders Chapter of the Brothers of the Third Wheel

Our Mission

The Great River Riders (GRR) is a chapter of the Brothers of the Third Wheel (BTW), the world’s largest triking organization. The BTW was founded in Coal Valley, Illinois in 1983 by Jim Sickler. Its purpose is to unite trikers from around the world and help provide them with the information they need concerning trikes and triking. BTW headquarters is now located in AVA, MO the BTW has over 6,000 members worldwide.

The GRR is a chapter of the BTW and was formed to bring together those who enjoy riding and building trikes. The GRR events are normally one, two day rides and an occasionally cookout ride. We also attend events sponsored by other BTW chapters such as Trike-Ins, Trike/Bike/Car Shows and, of course, the BTW Annual Trike-Week held at Branson, MO in early June.

Currently the GRR chapter does not charge dues and communication is by e-mail (iowa.triker@yahoo.com) and limited telephone calling 319-752-1065. There will be a minimum of two official meetings per annum, normally the first Sunday in April and the last Sunday in October. During the riding season, informal meetings will be held as needed during events/rides.
